Blueberries

The blueberry is better known as the fruit of eternal youth, due to its high concentration of antioxidants. Antioxydants are helping to fight again oxidative stress, and therefore slow the cell ageing process and might help prevent strokes

Blueberries are also  among the richest fruits in polyphenols. Polyphenols seems to have a role in helping prevent and reducing the progression of cardiovascular diseases and even cancer. These would be explained by the fact that Polyphenols are actually working somehow as prebiotics, increasing the rate of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, which is important for health, weight control and disease prevention.

Cranberries
Cranberries have been part of the diet of the Arctic peoples for millennia.

Despite its small size, its health benefits are extensive. Cranberries contain vitamin C, calcium, and above all, antioxidants – and therefore, they are often referred to as a “superfood”.

Cranberries boast the highest antioxidant content, which influences proper functioning of the body and aging process. As mentioned above, antioxidants help to fight against oxidative stress, which seem to help preventing diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular problems.
They seems also to have a action on the reduction of LDL (bad cholesterol) levels, which may reduce the risk of heart diseases.
Finally, cranberries might have a good influence on urinary infection.

Pumpkin Seeds
Pumpkin seeds are known as a superfood rich in key nutrients. They have been used since ancient times in the diet of many cultures, both for their medical and nutritional properties.

Pumpkin seeds are rich in vitamins A, K, B6 and folic acid, omegas 3&6, zinc, potassium, iron and magnesium. Moreover, they contain high levels of protein. As a result, pumpkin seeds are very satiating, which helps you to not feel the urge to eat between meals while allowing you to remain charged with energy. Pumkin seeds also seem to have quite many other benefits such as improving digestion, aiding fat-burning, and helping to reduce “bad cholesterol”.
