What is WHEY protein?

For athletes, WHEY protein is useful for:

What is the composition of Pulsaar’s WHEY protein (Strength and Recovery Powder – Whey Protein)?

For all the above reason, the Pulsaar Team created Strength and Recovery Powder – Whey Protein, a protein powder made from 3 different whey protein types:

1) Whey Protein Isolate: It is derived from whey from which almost all lactose and fat have been removed. It is therefore composed mainly of proteins and immunoglobulins.
Its absorption by our body is very fast.

2) calcium caseinate: it comes from skimmed milk. This protein is a source of calcium which is good for strengthening our bones. Its absorption is a little slower than the whey protein isolate

3) and micellar casein: it is a natural constituent of milk. Its absorption time is very slow (about 7 hours for a fasted person). Thus, it allows releasing amino acids for many hours, therefore allowing muscle synthesis.

Why is it interesting?

These different types of protein can stimulate protein synthesis in order to rebuild muscle fibers. Our muscles are made up thanks to those.

However, not all these proteins are assimilated in the same way. As a matter of fact, it does not take the same time for our body to digest each of them. Therefore it does not make them all available at the same time.
